किससे पूछें हमने कहाँ 

चेहरा-ए-रोशन देखा है

महफ़िल-महफ़िल ढूँढ चुके हैं 

गुलशन-गुलशन देखा है

               ..... तस्कीन कुरैशी

To whom I should ask, Where i have seen that Glorious Charming person, 

Searched every party, every assembly, every garden, Every possible avenue, wandering here & there but in vain. 

चेहरा-ए-रोशन : Glorious Face : नूरानी चेहरा

किसको देखें किसको न देखें 

फूल भी हैं कलियाँ भी मगर

जिससे लगाई आँख उसी को 

दिल का दुश्मन देखा है

To see whom? , to avoid whom? 

Who look as delicate as flower 

Or as innocent as bud, 

Once found slight affinity, 

Strange characteristic of negativity emerges.

रंग-ए-बहार-ए-सुबह-ए-गुलिस्ताँ 

क्या देखे वो दीवाना

जिसकी नज़र ने एक ही गुल में 

सारा गुलशन देखा है

The connoisseurs approach of This lover is strange enough as he has no attraction towards (Colourful flowers in morning's garden splendor), his eyes focused on only one flower ( beloved ) who is synonymous or more defining than everything else beautiful in life. 

रंग-ए-बहार-ए-सुबह-ए-गुलिस्ताँ : Colour of morning's blossomed flowers in the garden 

एक ही गुल : only one flower, (beloved)

अहल-ए-वफ़ा की ख़ून की छीटें 

दूर तक उड़ कर जाती हैं

मेरा तड़पना देखने वाले 

अपना भी दामन देखा है

Do care about who are faithful to you... 

Don't hurt them 

Who cares for you, once betrayed by you, (feel hurt & bleed deep inside),  

Curse : 

don't look towards my misery, look at your own cloth on which my blood`s strains are visible. 

अहल-ए-वफ़ा : faithful

आज उन्हें जो चाहे समझ लो

वरना यही 'तस्कीन' है जिन्हें

कल तक हमने कू-ए-बुता में 

काक़-ब-दामन देखा है

Today, may call him successful famous eminent person, but we know the struggle depression sacrifices behind the today's success, This Poet `Taskeen` was almost lost in the street of his beloved home, waiting for acceptance from her ( which never came). 

'तस्कीन' : the poet : तस्कीन कुरैशी, 

तस्कीन : satisfaction

कू-ए-बुता : street of beloved

क़ाक़ : feeble, weak, dried, pale, lean

काक़-ब-दामन : feeble, pale, weak, desperate (person)
