सुन चरख़े दी मिठ्ठी मिठ्ठी कूक
माहिया मैनू याद आवंदा
मेरे दिल विचहो उठती ऐ हूँक
माहिया मैनू याद आवंदा

मेरी ईद वाला चन कदों चढ़ेगा
अल्लाह जाने माही कदों वेडे वड़ेगा
दुख ढाडे ने ते , ज़िन्दहि मलूक

माही आवेगा ते , खुशियाँ मनवांगी ,
उदेहे राहाँ विच अखियाँ विछावंगी ,
जाँन छडीये है विछोरोएँ ने फूंक ,

ताने मारदे ने अपने शरिक वे
लिख चिट्ठी विच औन दी तरिक वे
काली रात वाली डंगे मैनु शूक

कता पूरियाँ ते हंजु मेरे वघदे
हुन हासे वि नही मैनू चंगे लगदे
किवेएँ भुल जवां उदे मैं सलूक

सुन चरख़े दी मिठ्ठी मिठ्ठी कूक
माहिया मैनू याद आवंदा

Sweet melodious sound of spinning wheel reminds me of my beloved , who is away from home , it erupts  inconsolable feeling of remembrance of my beloved

मेरी ईद वाला चन कदों चढ़ेगा
अल्लाह जाने माही कदों वेडे वड़ेगा
दुख ढाडे ने ते , ज़िन्दहि मलूक

When the moon ( beloved )  sighting signling the beginning of celebrations will appear ? God knows , when beloved enters back in home ? Enormous suffrings , life like a hell without beloved

माही आवेगा ते , खुशियाँ मनवांगी ,
उदेहे राहाँ विच अखियाँ विछावंगी ,
जाँन छडीये है विछोरोएँ ने फूंक

Will celebrate when beloved return ,
Will lay down my eyes to decorate the return passage  ,  soul almost burned in the intense heat of separation.

लिख चिट्ठी विच औन दी तरिक वे
काली रात वाली डंगे मैनु शूक

Consistent teasing by relatives , please write back the date of your return , each black night ( night without beloved ) bites me with venom.

हुन हासे वि नही मैनू चंगे लगदे
किवेएँ भुल जवां उदे मैं सलूक

While spinning the wheel , my tears were unstoppable , these days laughter hurts enormously  , how could I forget beloved's behaviour.
