तेरा ग़म है तो ग़म-ए-दहर का झगड़ा क्या है

तेरी सूरत से है आलम में बहारों को सबात

तेरी आँखों के सिवा दुनिया में रक्खा क्या है

तू जो मिल जाए तो तक़दीर निगूँ हो जाए

यूँ न था मैं ने फ़क़त चाहा था यूँ हो जाए

और भी दुख हैं ज़माने में मोहब्बत के सिवा

राहतें और भी हैं वस्ल की राहत के सिवा

अन-गिनत सदियों के तारीक बहीमाना तिलिस्म

रेशम ओ अतलस ओ कमख़ाब में बुनवाए हुए

जा-ब-जा बिकते हुए कूचा-ओ-बाज़ार में जिस्म

ख़ाक में लुथड़े हुए ख़ून में नहलाए हुए

लौट जाती है उधर को भी नज़र क्या कीजे

अब भी दिलकश है तेरा हुस्न मगर क्या कीजे

और भी दुख हैं ज़माने में मोहब्बत के सिवा

राहतें और भी हैं वस्ल की राहत के सिवा

मुझ से पहली सी मोहब्बत मेरे महबूब न माँग

Translation :

मुझ से पहली सी मोहब्बत मेरे महबूब न माँग

Oh my beloved , please don't ask the love same as of first era .

मैं ने समझा था कि तू है तो दरख़्शाँ है हयात

दरख़्शाँ : shining, brilliant
हयात : life, existence

I have understood that if meraly with your existance there is illumination in my life.

तेरा ग़म है तो ग़म-ए-दहर का झगड़ा क्या है

ग़म : grief , sorrow
ग़म-ए-दहर : sorrow of world

Any grief from your side , is more than sufficient to occupy my senses , any other sorrow of world becomes irrelevant.

तेरी सूरत से है आलम में बहारों को सबात

सूरत : shape, face, manner
आलम : Universe, World , Situation
बहारों : Spring , beauty spread
सबात : Stability, durability

Your presence , your charm assures the durability of spring

Or

You are the synonyms of beauty all around.

तेरी आँखों के सिवा दुनिया में रक्खा क्या है

What else is divine in this world except your beautiful eyes.

तू जो मिल जाए तो तक़दीर निगूँ हो जाए

तक़दीर : divine decree, fate, destiny
निगूँ : downward

If you found you in my life , the destiny bow in my feet.

तिलिस्म : magic, spell, enchantment

Countless centuries of mystical ruthless history ( black or illogical mythical)

अतलस : satin
कमख़ाब : muslin
बुनवाए : weaved

Dreaded history presented in very soothing form like draped in silk satin or very fine muslin to cover up its ruthless past.

Referring Red light District where women are forced to sell their body against their will to quiche the thirst of monsters as these demons control the market forces.

लुथड़े : raw flash
ख़ून : blood
नहलाए : bathed

The pathetic condition ( both socially as well as economically ) of the marginal society specifically those times women forced to sell their flashy rotten bodies ( blood bathed) to the demonic characters

( these tearful but true descriptions of ground reality are Faiz's significant throughout )

Cant resist to have a glimpse again,

Even after all this pathetic conditions, your beauty is charming, but what to do? ( to get away from this living hell ).

गए दिनों का सुराग़ ले कर
किधर से आया किधर गया वो,
अजीब मानूस अजनबी था
मुझे तो हैरान कर गया वो...

ख़ुशी की रुत हो कि ग़म का मौसम
नज़र उसे ढूँढती है हर दम ,
वो 'बू-ए-गुल' था कि 'नग़्मा-ए-जाँ'
मेरे तो दिल में उतर गया वो ...

वो मय-कदे को जगाने वाला
वो रात की नींद उड़ाने वाला,
ये आज क्या उस के जी में आई
कि शाम होते ही घर गया वो..

वो रात का 'बे-नवा' मुसाफ़िर
वो तेरा शायर वो तेरा 'नासिर'
तेरी गली तक तो हम ने देखा था
फिर न जाने किधर गया वो ...

अजीब मानूस अजनबी था

अजीब : Strange Unfamiliar Wonderful
मानूस : familiar, intimate, friendly
अजनबी : Stranger, Unaccustomed
हैरान : confounded, perplexed, amazed

Taking clue from old nostalgic days , unknown arrived from nowhere went again to unfisclosed destination ,

Though a stranger , seems familiar with wonderful characterstics , memsmerised me completely.

ख़ुशी की रुत हो कि ग़म का मौसम
नज़र उसे ढूँढती है हर दम ,
वो 'बू-ए-गुल' था कि 'नग़्मा-ए-जाँ'
मेरे तो दिल में उतर गया वो ...

रुत : season , weather
मौसम : season , time
दम : moment , breath ,पल
बू-ए-गुल : Fragnace of Flower
नग़्मा-ए-जाँ : song of life

Season of joy or sorrow , eyes just search the company of this ( stranger ) , stranger was like
Fragrance of a fresh flower or song of life , completely filled in my heart with strange feelings.

वो मय-कदे को जगाने वाला
वो रात की नींद उड़ाने वाला,
ये आज क्या उस के जी में आई
कि शाम होते ही घर गया वो..

मय-कदे : taverns , bar , lounge
जी : heart , conscience

Stranger was the first person to go to taverns as to wake up the every activity , also was a late night person who never slept in the night time,
But today , don't know what was in the heart , stranger went home in the evening itself .

वो तेरा शायर वो तेरा 'नासिर'
तेरी गली तक तो हम ने देखा था

नासिर : Nasir Kazmi the poet himself

Stranger , the destitute passenger of night time , The Stranger your poet name Nasir , last time seen at your lane's end thereafter didn't know whereabouts

कभी हम जान लेते हैं कभी पहचान लेते हैं..

'फ़िराक़' अक्सर बदल कर भेस मिलता है
कोई काफ़िर,
कभी हम जान लेते हैं कभी पहचान लेते हैं..

भेस : disguise, dress

काफ़िर : sweetheart , माशूक़ा , infidel, impious person, प्रेमपात्र, , असमर्थ, अपात्र

जान : a friend, a lover, of the heart or soul, of or relating to life

पहचान : acquaintance, recognize, identify, descry , sign, distinction

This Couplet is the classic example of signature style with enormous complexity of the legendary Poet Firaq Gorakhpuri Sahib.

Literally meaning :
Firaq ( Firaq Gorakhpuri : The Poet blaming himself for identifying the indifferent attitude ) that the beloved ( referred as काफ़िर : who don't want to show her acquaintance openly , but loves him in her heart ) sometimes treats him as a friend ( जान ) and At times only as acquainted ( पहचान : a person one knows slightly, but who is not a close friend. )

Real meaning :
Firaq ( poet himself ) is confound with the bewildered behavior of the beloved ( काफ़िर ) where sometimes she pretend to be a close friend ( जान ) , but At times only as a distant known ( पहचान ), this perplexed behavior ( referred as : अक्सर बदल कर भेस : disguise ) is causing anxiety.

इक बरहमन ने कहा है कि ये साल अच्छा है

उश्शाक़ : प्रेमी , lovers
बुतों : idols, beloved ones
फ़ैज़ : success, grace, फ़ायदा, कृपा
बरहमन : Brahmin, Hindu Priest, fortune teller

Let's see what favors Beloved gives to me, As Fortune Teller predict this year is very good for my successes.

माहिया मैनू याद आवंदा
मेरे दिल विचहो उठती ऐ हूँक
माहिया मैनू याद आवंदा

मेरी ईद वाला चन कदों चढ़ेगा
अल्लाह जाने माही कदों वेडे वड़ेगा
दुख ढाडे ने ते , ज़िन्दहि मलूक

माही आवेगा ते , खुशियाँ मनवांगी ,
उदेहे राहाँ विच अखियाँ विछावंगी ,
जाँन छडीये है विछोरोएँ ने फूंक ,

ताने मारदे ने अपने शरिक वे
लिख चिट्ठी विच औन दी तरिक वे

दुख ढाडे ने ते , ज़िन्दहि मलूक

When the moon ( beloved )  sighting signling the beginning of celebrations will appear ? God knows , when beloved enters back in home ? Enormous suffrings , life like a hell without beloved

माही आवेगा ते , खुशियाँ मनवांगी ,
उदेहे राहाँ विच अखियाँ विछावंगी ,
जाँन छडीये है विछोरोएँ ने फूंक

Will celebrate when beloved return ,
Will lay down my eyes to decorate the return passage  ,  soul almost burned in the intense heat of separation.

Aadhaar Biometric Data, lock / unlock ? When? Why? Where?

Aadhaar Biometric Data, lock / unlock ?  When?  Why?  Where?

Sharing From my own today's experience,
As a new era of Aadhar linked biometric verification begins & we all are not very familiar with the nuance or finer aspects of these verification, if misused, can cause us financial loss etc. etc., flip side is if we want to get these verified but failed then also a big problem.

Today's Example
Now as per Govt., Now it is mandatory to link Mobile Sim with Aadhaar,

Today my finger print matching failed  Both at Airtel as well as on Vodafone ( as my two numbers) ,

Reason being :
Because I have locked myself earlier ( way back about two years due to some media reports about data theft ) on the Aadhar website link below, but funny part is, I just forgot that I have locked biometric verification myself,

After a detailed web surfing found my own fault, then I have unlocked biometric verification on the same website,

Now My Mobile Sim linked with Aadhar properly,
