उस ने सुकूत-ए-शब में भी अपना पयाम रख दिया
हिज्र की रात बाम पर माह-ए-तमाम रख दिया

आमद-ए-दोस्त की नवेद कू-ए-वफ़ा में आम थी
मैंने भी इक चराग़ सा दिल सर-ए-शाम रख दिया

शिद्दत-ए-तिश्नगी में भी ग़ैरत-ए-मय-कशी रही
उसने जो फेर ली नज़र मैंने भी जाम रख दिया

उस ने नज़र नज़र में ही ऐसे भले सुख़न कहे
मैंने तो उस के पाँव में सारा कलाम रख दिया

देखो ये मेरे ख़्वाब थे देखो ये मेरे ज़ख़्म हैं
मैंने तो सब हिसाब-ए-जाँ बर-सर-ए-आम रख दिया

और 'फ़राज़' चाहिएँ कितनी मोहब्बतें तुझे
माओं ने तेरे नाम पर बच्चों का नाम रख दिया

Even in separation, the beloved conveyed her message in the dead silence of night by arranging full moon on the terrace as a symbol of divine love between them.

The good news of beloved's visit was well know in the neighborhood, to make my presence felt & gain attention , I also lit my heart in the form of a lamp from the evening.

उसने जो फेर ली नज़र मैंने भी जाम रख दिया

Even in the full intensity of thirst (desire : desire of beloved's attention ) , I have maintained the dignity of drink, the moment beloved turned her attention, I put the Goblet back & stopped drinking.

To the context :
The intensity to gain the beloved attention that too with defined dignity, metaphorically represented as the dignity of drink and goblet.

शिद्दत-ए-तिश्नगी : intensity of thirst
ग़ैरत : dignity
मय  : drink
कशी : imbibement, enjoyment to have

उस ने नज़र नज़र में ही ऐसे भले सुख़न कहे
मैंने तो उस के पाँव में सारा कलाम रख दिया

The mentor silently praises my poem with appreciative eyes in the blessings mood, I submitted script of my poem in mentor's feet as a mark of respect or submission.

देखो ये मेरे ख़्वाब थे देखो ये मेरे ज़ख़्म हैं
मैंने तो सब हिसाब-ए-जाँ बर-सर-ए-आम रख दिया

Look these are my dreams, these are my wounds, whatever I had, total account of my life, put on for public display, to attain liberations from all the invisible shackle binding on oneself.
