ये है मय-कदा यहाँ रिंद हैं यहाँ सब का साक़ी इमाम है
ये हरम नहीं है ऐ शैख़ जी यहाँ पारसाई हराम है
जो ज़रा सी पी के बहक गया , उसे मय-कदे से निकाल दो
यहाँ तंग-नज़र का गुज़र नहीं , यहाँ अहल-ए-ज़र्फ़ का काम है
कोई मस्त है, कोई तिश्ना-लब, तो किसी के हाथ में जाम है
मगर इस पे कोई करे भी क्या, ये तो मय-कदे का निज़ाम है
ये जनाब-ए-शैख़ का फ़ल्सफ़ा है अजीब सारे जहान से
जो वहाँ पियो तो हलाल है जो यहाँ पियो तो हराम है
इसी काएनात में ऐ 'जिगर' कोई इंक़लाब उठेगा फिर
कि बुलंद हो के भी आदमी अभी ख़्वाहिशों का ग़ुलाम है

Literally :
This is a tavern, everyone is here to enjoy a drink, here everyone is served without discrimination by the Server, this is no holy periphery therefore self restriction is forbidden here, Enjoy limitless
Crux :
This is life where everyone can express their opinions feelings without any inhabitant without any fear of any backlash, here everyone has the equal opportunity & service by the almighty God,
Here the talk of conservatism is not allowed.
Note :
In Urdu poetry, the a religious place is the symbol of orthodox, conservative values & A Bar is symbolizes as a liberal place where one can express without any social religious beliefs or influence.
मय-कदा : Bar, Pub, Tavern
रिंद : Drinker
साकी : one who serves wine, a sweetheart
इमाम : leader/ chief/ spiritual head
हरम : काबा , Sanctuary, the sacred territory of Mecca
शैख़ : saint/ preacher/ a cast of the muslim
पारसाई : holiness, chastity, self-restraint
हराम : unlawful act, forbidden, prohibited, unlawful

Literally :
Who so ever is out with the small quantity of drink, throw him out of the bar, here low stemina has no ground, here people with perseverance can hold the ground.
Crux :
The metaphor Bar or Pub represents the life, where getting irritated with small difficulties has no place, here people with low tolerance has no existence, here survival is dependent on the fitness level. ( who can fight & win the continuous challenges)
तंग-नज़र : narrow mind
अहल-ए-ज़र्फ़ : magnanimous, benevolence, bountiful

मगर इस पे कोई करे भी क्या, ये तो मय-कदे का निज़ाम है
Literally :
Some are intoxicated , Some are still parched to have something, some are holding the drinks,
But what anyone can do in this, the system in the Pub is like this.
Crux :
The metaphor represents society in which we live,
Some having overdosed resulting intoxicated with money honour pride etc., Some has nothing, completely deprived of all resources, Some has sufficient to their survival, but what one can do change all this discrimination, the whole society system is like this ( sarcastic saying ).
मस्त : drunk, intoxicated
तिश्ना-लब : having parched lips, thirsty
जाम : glass of wine
मय-कदे : Bar, Pub, Tavern
निज़ाम : order, arrangement, system

जो वहाँ पियो तो हलाल है जो यहाँ पियो तो हराम है
Crux :
The Philosophy by Mr. Preacher is Strange as intoxication at the religious place in the God's love is permissible, in contrast intoxication in Pub is forbidden.

अजीब : Strange, odd
जहान : World
पियो : Drink
हलाल : With religious sanction, permissible, lawful
हराम : unlawful act, forbidden, prohibited, unlawful

Crux :
The Poet Jigar confidently assuring himself about a revolution in this world to end the discrimination one day, but in spite of Greatness of human being still trapped in their desires and do needful for day to day life.
